Impressive! - The Last High King in Exile remains one of my favourite Tolkien characters who never actually appears in person (along with Elendil the Tall, his brother-in-arms) and I think you've done credit to him with this depiction; it's easy to see this character as wary enough to avoid being hooked by the 'Lord of Gifts' and mighty enough to bring down The Lord of the Rings, both at the head of that puissant coalition The Last Alliance and in hand-to-hand combat (albeit at the cost of his own life).
You captured him perfectly - I immediately thought "Gil-Galad!" before I even read the title. He's got a stern kingliness to his face that could only belong to Middle-earth's longest reigning high king.
