牛,Niu, is a kind of animal, in English, is cow, every kinds of cow(even buffaloes can be called Niu in Chinese). Niu has the same pronounce with new, the only difference is the end of the word should sound going up instead of going down, like you are asking"new?"

Niu, is not so simple in Chinese. In daily life, it usually means awesome, bravo, so fu@&^$*king good. It's a compliment between friends.

But, sometimes, you can use it when you're so pissed off. The situation is when you have been pushed, forced or cheated on so much, like being forced to back off(being unwilling is a necessary condition), or being cheated on for years, and you may not do anything to change it at that moment. When you are so pissed off, you can say to your enemy, "ni(you) niu ah(means nothing but strengths the emotion)", means "you did a such bloody nice job on me, I'm totally f%$$^ed up and can't to anything to fight back now." Some times, when you are so angry, you say opposite words.

Niu, as an animal, has organs. So... once a Croatian told me they have the same use of these kind of words in their language, you may already know what kind of organ we are talking about. This organ begin with V and only female cows have it. In Chinese it pronounces Niu Bi(New? B,b should also sounds going straight instead of going down). It is a stronger word than single"niu", but has the same means, only much stronger. BIGBIG compliment or still very pissed off.

I'm trying to explain this Chinese words here, pls let me know if you understand or confuse with the word...or feel nothing. :D
